SLURP is a non profit which operates a cage free, no kill shelter for rescued cats and a no kill shelter for dogs. Servicing Venango, Crawford, Forest & Warren Counties in PA.

Our mission at SLURP is to rescue unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected animals and provide them with medical care and a nurturing environment while finding them forever homes.  We want to restore these animals  both physically and  emotionally which requires a lot of time and resources. 

With a group of dedicated community members, life long animal lovers and pet owners as members of SLURP we know we can make a better life for many animals.  

 As humans it is our obligation to be the voice for these poor creatures and that is exactly what we intend to be.
